Gidget & Kuma

National Pet Day was founded in 2005 “to celebrate the joy pets bring to our lives and to create public awareness about the plight of many different kinds of animals awaiting a forever home in shelters and rescues all across the nation.”

What are you doing for National Pet Day? Here are some ways to celebrate.

3. Have a National Pet Day outing or party for your pets.
